AM Shift: Solidarity Strike Support with Ashland Chemical Workers!

Workers at Ashland Specialty Chemicals in Texas City are on an Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) strike!
70 skilled workers represented by the Texas City Metal Trades Council, AFL-CIO — IUOE Local 564, IBEW Local 527, UA Local 211, and IAM District Lodge 776 — voted to reject the company’s contract and authorize this strike because the company is: ❌ Forcing employees to perform work outside their craft ❌ Proposing slashing paid sick time ❌ Outsourcing storeroom jobs to outside contractors.
