Houston DSA Membership has overwhelmingly approved a resolution in support of locked-out United Steelworkers Local 13-243 as they fight against unsafe working conditions and the greed of their employer, Exxon. During our last general meeting, a representative of Local 13-243 was very clear that they need one thing above all else– people to show up and join them on the picket line. It’s up to us to answer this call.

This session will be a great chance to bring members together, share ideas, and formulate plans. There will definitely be sign-making so bring art supplies if you can!

This will also function as a social. Zoom calls can get monotonous after a while. Come out and share a beverage with fellow members! All are welcome, absolutely no experience required.
