Join friends, organizers and fellow workers in support of Houston DSA’s local efforts with a screening and discussion of Boots Riley’s 2018 dark comedy Sorry to Bother You.

Sorry to Bother You follows the journey of Cassius Green, a worker in a call-center in dystopian Oakland. Four months behind on rent, Cash is approached by his co-worker about unionization, and his boss about a promotion. For everything that unfolds next, you’ll just have to watch with us.

On top of the screening, this will be an excellent opportunity to get to know our chapter, its Working Groups (Labor, Palestinian Liberation, Abolition, Political Education), and have conversations with community members.

Event is open to the public with a suggested minimum donation of $5 (raffle ticket included). Food will be provided.
