Our Immigrant Justice Working Group is committed to fighting for immigrant workers and the abolishment of ICE. After a year of organizing, we helped pass the Immigration Ordinance in April 2026 to limit collaboration with ICE until it was gutted by City Council under threat by Governor Greg Abbott. We have informed businesses about their rights, provided mutual aid to immigrant workers, and engaged hundreds of people in canvassing, testimony, protest, and organizing.
