Houston DSA is gathering to submit a letter to Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher alongside her constituents, demanding she supports the Ceasefire Now Resolution introduced by Congresswoman Cori Bush, which calls for an immediate ceasefire and de-escalation in Occupied Palestine, as well as humanitarian and assistance for Gaza.

Lizzie Fletcher is endorsed by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and has taken trips to Occupied Palestine sponsored by the group. Nevertheless, we urge her to sign on and stop the genocide of Gaza by the racist, apartheid Zionist state.

Additionally, we call attention to Houston DSA endorsed elected, Pervez Agwan, who is challenging Fletcher and has stood strong in his support for Palestine.
