Houston DSA’s Neighbors Against Spying Campaign, in collaboration with Houston Abolitionist Collective, is hosting a block party at Emancipation Park on August 13th, 2022 from 5-8 pm with speakers, performers, public engagement exercises, and mutual aid. This event aims to raise awareness about surveillance of predominantly Black neighborhoods in Houston and gain signatures for our petition to #StopShotSpotter and cancel all ShotSpotter contracts.
