Houston DSA invites all community members to take part in our virtual film screening and discussion of Naila and the Uprising, an inspiring and educational documentary about the key role of women in the first Intifada. The first Intifada was a key part of Palestinian resistance during an important historical moment in the struggle for Palestinian liberation.
The film screening and discussion will take place on Wednesday, February 2nd. Join us on Zoom (complete this RSVP for Zoom registration link, as well as screening link and password) at 6:30 PM CST to watch the film together, or you can watch the film on your own and join us at 8 PM CST for the discussion.
Please note that it is not required to attend the virtual discussion on February 2nd to sign up and view the film. The film is just under 1.5 hours. RSVP for the viewing and discussion to receive Zoom registration link, as well as screening link and password.
If you know someone who wants to view the film, have them fill out this RSVP so they can get the screening link and password. This is open to all community members, it is just required to sign up. Share this sign-up form widely, but please do not forward the film link and password.
This is coordinated by the DSA BDS & Palestine Solidarity Working Group to bring this film to any DSA chapter, YDSA or internal body through the end of 2022 in honor of the first Intifada. December 8th, 2021 marked the 34th anniversary of the 1st Intifada. Please email email@example.com to coordinate a screening or with any questions.
