Houston DSA is about democracy, and our General Meeting is at the center of our practice. This meeting is open to non-members, but only members will be able to vote.
This month’s agenda includes:
-Nominations open for our Electoral Committee
-A presentation on conspiracy theories by UH Downtown Professor of Communications, Dr. Lucas Logan
-Voting on a resolution in support of farmworkers in their efforts to boycott Wendy’s
-Voting on a Bylaws amendment (members, see Mattermost and email)
-Summary of midterms for DSA and words from our locally endorsed candidates
-A call for members to form an Education Working Group.
