For months we’ve discussed a variety of campaigns that our working group could potentially take on and at last month’s meeting we finally decided that our focus should be on targeting a source of carcinogens being emitted by a local company.
-Strategizing new campaign
-TEJAS released the date of the Valero and TCEQ public meeting(will have its own event page,) Valero is asking to increase the amount of Hydrogen Cyanide they can release, they also want to stop tracking their benzene emissions reductions. Both of these are incredibly frightening proposals! We need plenty of people to show up to this meeting and speak out, let’s carpool!

-Finish reviewing the Jemez Principles of Democratic Organizing
