Abolition Working Group meets on the Third Thursday of every month. We are working as part of the Houston Abolitionist Collective along with our coalition partners to build our organizing power. Join us as we work on next steps against the contract with ShotSpotter and also continue our Neighbors Against Spying campaign to pressure HPD to cancel its surveillance partnership with Amazon Ring, which can allow police to access residents’ Ring Doorbell Cameras.
